Personal subsidiary plot “Siyanie” produces timber on its own and rented areas in the Tver and Pskov regions. The timber area is located in the southern taiga where spruce, pine and birch are mostly presented.
The total volume of wood production is over 320 thousand cu m annually.
Harvested wood is sent to the company’s sawmill in Staraya Toropa and is sold in foreign and domestic markets.
Timber process is made according to Scandinavian CTL technology, which allows increasing the productivity of mechanized harvesting. The most important role is played by aggregate complexes consisting of harvesters and forwarders, providing a full cycle of work on cutting, logging and skidding of wood in various landscape conditions.
CTL technology is one of the most environmentally friendly, as it has a smaller impact on the forest environment, while maintaining soil covering.
The tech park is represented by complexes for mechanized harvesting, motor vehicles and self-propelled means, skidding, grading and other special equipment, which fully meets the planned volumes. The company pays special attention to the uninterrupted operation of each unit in the tech park.
The repair unit has all necessary equipment, and its employees have a necessary training and make work of any complexity - from routine inspection and minor current tasks to comprehensive repair of special equipment. The independence from other technical services allows us to organize a non-stop production process including all established deadlines and volumes.
All logging works are carried out in accordance with the renewable forest resources concept. The company's own cutting areas have a recovery by means of full range of forest restoration works with the use of special equipment and the specialists.
Thanks to this approach, we strongly believe that we will preserve the natural sources of the native region for our descendants, despite timber increase.
